FOR THE MEMBERS
Bring in your bonsai, bonsai stands, shitakusa, suiseki, and scrolls for display. Set up starts at 7:30 am on Saturday and the set up remains until open until 5pm. Feel free to bring trees to work on throughout the two days.
As with every show, we ask that members volunteer a few hours to help the show run smoothly. Below, you can find the time slots and number of people in different positions we are looking to fill in. You can email Kem at firstname.lastname@example.org to let him know where he can sign up you up.
All members who are selling items at the show correctly fill in the sales sheet, as well as label each item before the start of the sales area. A volunteer will help you cross-check your items to make sure everything is in order.
If you are selling items, we kindly, but affirmatively, require that you volunteer in the sales area for an amount of time proportionate to the number of items you are selling. There are a number of positions you can hold, so please take a look at the Sales Area sign up sheet to fill in what suits you best.
Sales area will open at 10:30 am on Saturday morning to volunteers who have sign up on the volunteer sheets. Sales area opens at 11 am for all other members and visitors.
The social for members will be catered on Saturday at 6pm, so please RSVP with Karolina at email@example.com by Friday, October 18th. The Judging Committee will award the Dick Morton award for “Best Tree in Show,” and we will have a walk through discussion and critique of some of the trees, with a drink in hand.
If you have a SMART SERVE License and would like to help serve some bevvies at the Social, please let Otmar know.
