Selecting Plant Material

In the concluding Bonsai 101 session of the 2021-2022 Series, you will learn how to look for appropriate beginner plant material, whether it’s yamadori or nursery stock. Some trees should be left to the landscapers, while others already have characteristics that could make them spectacular specimens in the future. This session will be followed by an in-person nursery crawl in June.
